Study On Movement Of Association During The May Fourth Period

The May Fourth Movement period, when Chinese society has witnessed a great transformation from the traditional into modern and its social structure had undergone significant changes, is an important period in the China's history. The times topic of national salvation had added integration of social power and reconstruction of moral. Under such a background, the tide of association had happened in May 4th.Many people had establish the organization to study and proposed ideological trend. They had raise mang kinds of construction programs of social culture which had debate each other . Some insights hopes the popularity in social life can promote social modernization.Trend of association has many meaning and deep ideological value during the May Fourth Movement: It changes happened in our modern culture of material culture from the outer level through the middle level of development of institutional culture. People hope to reshape the "national character", transforming society and cultivate Chinese "social organization" through the association. The association of May 4th has many valuable achievements in the thought and the social practice, but it is not perfect. First ,it has a heavy idealism colour, and lack of the consideration to practice. Second , participants do not treat different comments rationally. So association of May 4th association had its great achievements and its serious shortfall.Today, social cultural transformation of our country is still forward to explore. Except we draw experience from history, we should be focused on the reality and get the new advancement. So, we could guide the new emergence of new social class and bring to bear the function of social community to promote social harmonious development.
