Procrastination is a common phenomenon in daily life. Academic procrastination is the extension of procrastination of students in life which means the individual is often or almost often to delay learning task, and often or almost often to experience the tendency of problematicity anxiety about procrastination. Academic procrastination is a complicated psychology mental phenomenon which includs cognition, feelings, and behavior. This research focused on problems of academic procrastination among academic students' psychology mental health development field, surveyed and analyzed academic students' academic procrastination behaviors present situation and cause. And on the basis of these, we argued and discussed the relationship of time management disposition, self-efficacy and academic procrastination, hoping the research can provide the supports for amelioration of academic students academic procrastination and empirical research. On the base of analyzing the domestic and foreign literatures and documents ,though studying 485 academic students, and by scale survey and relevant statistic and analysis, we got the following conclusion:(1) The overall academic procrastination degree of college students was not high. On the will to change academic procrastination, no matter is the high level academic procrastination or the low level academic procrastination, both of them had the strong will to decrease their academic behavior.(2) On academic procrastination which included academic procrastination and non-procrastination academic procrastination and correct academic procrastination, there were significant differences in different gender, education history and major of college students.(3) By the survey on the reason for academic procrastination, we found that the top 3 reasons that influences college students is having difficulty to make decision, low self-esteem and time management, and the least affects academic procrastination reason is being afraid to be successful.(4) The college students'time management level was superior than average level, the difference only exist in students of different major. Self-efficacy of college students was above middle level and there were significant differences among students in different gender and major.(5) Time management disposition, self-efficacy and academic procrastination exist significant correlation in pairwise. Through regression analysis, time management and self-efficacy tended to learn to delay the effective predictor.
