Taiwan And Fujian Drama Industry Activation Space Exploration

Drama exchanging is an important part of cultural exchanges which are between Mainland and Taiwan, and the Gezi opera is the main drama of the exchanging. Because of the different culture systems, even though the root of the opera is the same, yet show different patterns of development. After 1980, Taiwan's most operas went back to the modern theater, and gradually developed toward the creative industries (or pan-industry). However, in Fu jian, the folk and professional opera troupes are different from the official ones in living environment. Folk troupes hold huge markets but lack of effective management, while the official ones have high artistic achievements but in trouble with institutional barriers, which are restricting the development of Fu jian opera.In this paper, the author takes Taiwan Ming Hua Yuan Opera Troupe and Xia men Gezi Opera Troupe for examples,and adopts methods such as literature review, studying types of operas,case study,fieldwork and market investigation to compare their different develop patterns with multi-angle, and tries to sum up the Taiwan drama development experience. In the opinion of author, Fu jian operas are possible and necessary to take the industrial model to develop. So in this paper, firstly, the history of development of Gezi Opera troupes in prosecution is reviewed; secondly,their present status, market and vista are described; and the ecological and humanities environment of Gezi Opera is explored finally. To provide the theoretical guidance for Fu jian drama to develop in the future is what the author hopes.
