In the long development, Opera has always had complicated relation with the Chinese classical novels. Related opera in many novels regurgitate the state of opera in that era. In recent years, the neglected opera troupes have gradually attracted the attention of scholars, and different research results have appeared. Based on the above condition, this paper will explore the situation of the family opera troupe in the early Qing Dynasty by taking the "A Dream Of Red Mansions" as an introduction: When the Qing Dynasty was just established, family opera troupes were frustrated. However, in the periods of Kangxi and Qianlong, family opera troupes became active again in the opera stage, because of economic prosperity, the pleasure-seeking of bureaucrats and noblemen and other reasons. Family opera troupe members were mostly bought in their infant time, and they had been trained in the rich and powerful families. Though they were versatile, the cruel reality that they were used for entertainment reminded them of their low social position from time to time. The owners of the family opera troupes often let them perform in various banquets for entertainment and leisure. Because most of the audience are intellectuals and aristocratic who had elegant esthetic interests, KunQiang became the family opera troupe's main opera performances Tune, and the operas which were mainly played by ShengDan were more popular. Many repertoire even became classic opera going on now. Finally the family opera troupes didn't escape the death destiny, maybe for political limits, or economical influence or the development of opera itself. However, it left a heavy mark in the opera history, and made the tremendous contribution to opera development.
