Marx's philosophy is the philosophy of human liberation, human liberation is the noble cause of Marx struggling for a lifetime to achieve it. The formation of Marxist historical materialism theory of human liberation is consistent as the transformation of his world view, it can be divided into four stages: Kant-Fichte period,Hegelian period,Feuerbach School stage and historical materialism period. From the composition of middle school to the anthropological notes in his later years, although Marx's philosophical thought changed a lot, the firm conviction of the commitment to struggling for human liberation did not occur, only changing the theoretical expression of the ideal or aspiration. Throughout the historical evolution of Marx's theory of human liberation, we will find,along with close attention to the real problems and the deepening research of political economy, that the "human liberation" is not only the Marx's ambitious goals as a conscious pursuit, but obtained more and more prolific content in the process, ultimately demonstrated the realistic ways of human beings to achieve liberation-Communist, which is different from the theory of Heidegger that can not be said of the mystery, but a realistic social system, can become the target of human endeavor.Marx criticise the values of capitalist society such as freedom, justice and equality, but he has always been offensive to those of radical thinkers leaving the reality of social relations talk about the so-called freedom, justice, equality, and ethical issues. Marx's critique is to point to the social relations of capitalism, Marx's theory of human liberation is, by completely changed the relationship, to achieve freedom, justice and equality of human society. For Marx the way to achieve this purpose are: political liberation, economic liberation, labor liberation, ideological liberation and individual liberation, the ultimate target is to achieve the historic leap of human society from the realm of necessity to the realm of freedom, thus truly to realize human freedom and liberation. Under the historical perspective of contemporary Chinese characteristically socialist market economy, Marx's theory of human liberation encountered unprecedented dilemma and challenges. The scientific concept of development adhere to putting people first, requires coordinate and balanced development of political, economic, cultural, social and other fields, correct consciously the abnormal development of economic life in the market economy system. It is the Chinese people's effort to explore human liberation both in socialist theory and practice, and also the methodology to solve human liberation of Marx's theory of the dilemma and challenges encountered in contemporary China.
