In this paper, a disaster movie as the research object.Based on the analysis of disaster movies Motif, from the perspective of in-depth thinking of the myth,This paper argues that:disaster movie motif present in the myth of life and death, the conflict between good and evil,These contradictions is a disaster film narrative forward momentum. Disaster movie in which people show disaster in the face of all kinds of conception of death and the myth of thinking that eternal life and is closely associated with non-natural death. In the mythology of death is thought unnatural, so people in the disaster movie because of external forces are always under the threat of life. Because the myth of thinking that eternal life, the outcome of disaster movies always have the hope of human reproduction. Compared with the end of the myth, the film focuses on the narrative future disaster. This concept of time is a myth in the circular thinking the direct embodiment of the time period.This paper argues that the film not only reveals a certain disaster, social and cultural psychology, but also implies a sense of the eternal.
