The courtiers carved in the tomb have been developed with a new sculpture formation in Tang Dynasty in the succession of the formation in the Eastern Han Dynasty and the Northern Dynasty, as the variance of the politics and economy development in Tang Dynasty, the tomb courtiers were carved with various styles, showing different characteristics in different periods, just like the changing shape of trajectory. Changing with the period, the courtier sculptures were plain and simple in the Early Tang Dynasty, then became grand and decent in the peak period of Tang Dynasty, magnificent in the Mid of Tang dynasty, and to the late handsome, this also reflects the change of aesthetic taste of the Tang Dynasty.From the perspective of the study of sculpture formation, this article is showing its changing process with the comparison of different courtiers'styles of the Mid of Tang Dynasty tomb and the research on the characteristics shown from the sculptures of different period. This articles also introduces a detailed analysis on the formation and artistic style of remains in the Guanzhong Area, describes the modeling practices of sculptures in Tang Dynasty, the shaping principles and the connection between sculpture and environment.
