Teaching Metaphors Cultural Factors

Language is the tool of communication and thinking also the carrier of culture. Learners want to study well a second language it is very important to understand the culture. The most sensitive connections of language and culture are the metaphor. When processing the question about language teaching and cultural factors metaphor as the cultural introductory clues, namely when explaining metaphors in words that properly introduction the related cultural factors, for enhancing learners'understanding of the second language and deepen their understanding about Chinese culture. This paper also tentatively forward some principles about importing the culture and some assumptions about importing the culture when explaining metaphors, in order to seek the right teaching means for strengthen the teaching effect. The ultimate goal is that enhancing the language communicative ability.
