Study On Xunzi's Moral Education Thought And Its Modern Value

Moral education is the important part of China's traditional education and the excellent traditional ideological and moral education thought is the precious wealth of China's national culture which has played an important role on the Chinese historical and cultural psychology's formation and development. As the most outstanding person of the pre-qin Confucianism, Xunzi's thought is rich, broad and profound, especially his moral education thought, which has a great influence on Chinese traditional moral formation and development. At present, our country is committed to build up the socialist harmonious society and strengthen citizen moral construction. Under this background, reasonably inheriting and developing Xunzi's moral education thought and discovering its contemporary value, has a great practical significance for building a socialist morality education system which agrees with out national reality.There are four chapters in the paper.
