Research On The Establishment And Development Of He Jiang Base Of CPC At Liberation War

He Jiang Base, as the strategic rear of the Northeast, was most important among the five bases established earlier in the North of China. And its establishment and development was heavily involved in the success of our party and armies in the Northeast of China. So the study of role how He Jiang Base played on the Liberation War is highlighted.This dissertation systematically studies establishment and development of He Jiang Base during the Liberation War. On the basis of natural geographical advantage and acquired mass foundation in He Jiang province, the strategic policy of"defending southward and developing northward"which was made by Chinese Communist Party Central Committee was followed well. The armies began to march to He Jiang and to establish foundation in order to occupy the Northeast, with about twenty cadres chosen by Chinese Communist Party Central Committee and other strategic districts. The new people's democratic regime was defended by collecting bandits; the Landlord class on behalf of feudal forces was destroyed by cracking down on reactionaries and traitors and carrying out land-reform movement; the people's livelihood was improved by implementing Mass-Production Movement; and primary Party organizations were established by recruiting new members. All of these consolidated their base and also made the people in He Jiang province win emancipation completely. It is because He Jiang area was emancipated earlier and finished all kinds of constructions earlier that the provision of munitions of military front and numbers of outstanding persons and soldiers were provided during the Northeast War of Liberation. In addition, it gave an effective means for the consolidation and development of other bases. The author gives an overall picture in He Jiang Base and evaluates objectively on it.
