The famous Japanese writer called Shiga Naoya (1883 ~ 1971), is one of the represented writers in the school of platyphylla wood. Because of his amazing and artistic talent, and superior writing styles, he is regarded as "the God of novel" in Japan. And at the same time, as the scholar of the private and mood novels, he is granted a "Culture Medal" from the Japanese government in twenty-four years Showa Shiga. This paper attempts to analysis the real-life experiences of death and the deaths that occurred among his works, and which are the main objects. The author aims to know about the view of live and death among Shiga Naoya's whole life. In the beginning instruction of the paper, it indicates the current researches of Shigella according to the study of Chinese and Japanese scholars, and exclaims the reason that why the author puts her study on the view of life and death. In addition, the author also makes a brief introduction of how to analysis his works. Part one is mainly to study the literature creative activities. Shiga Naoya is well-known as an outstanding representative, he has a very high fame, and the style of his works is different from the naturalism of yushimafutarou and the realism of mushanokoujisaneastu, but the new-realism. That is to say, most of the material is from the real life, his experience, and relations related to him. Therefore, we can understand his life through researching his works. And part two analyze the reason of the formation of his view. Because his mother was dead when he was 13 years old, and the extremely love from his grandparents made his rebellious character, while to his strange and strict father, he generates a lot of conflict psychology. So we can say that the reason from his family has indelible effects for the formation of his view about life. 7 years of his Christian life made him realize that it's useless to confess but that was one of the basic tones in Japanese literary at that time. And the World War II and "an unusual event" made him feel angry because of the death of friends and people in Japan. Part three is the most important chapter in this paper, the work "in Saitama City" is his masterpiece about mental novel which is famous in Japan, and it also has critical state in his literary creations. That is the main symbol of"the pioneer of mental novel", and which is the fame he earned. In this paper, the author mainly researches the understanding to death, and this have the significance to his view of live and death. In the last part conclusion, after the experience of various dead scenes in his whole life, Shiga pay more attention to death, and the work "in Saitama City," is the best practice. And then it reflects his different view about life that is life is impermanent, and one should cancel the scary of death. Death is inevitable and accidental in some extent, and so it's important to pursue the peace spirit.
