Naoya Shiga (1883 -1971) is the famous writer who was active in the Japanese literary in modern times. He is not only an outstanding representative of silver birch group, but also respected as the "the god of the novel" by the Japanese. Naoya Shiga is a writer who respected personality. He is faithful to his own literary aesthetic taste and maintained in accordance with the aesthetic sense of calm of keeping literature distance away with political alienation to create their own literary world thoroughly.In Zhuang Zi's thought, which constitute its main theory is a natural, personal and thinking about life. Not only had he meticulous observation, specific description of people's environment of lives and the surrounding natural and social environment, but also had observed in catching the obstacles of people's lives expanding, the human boundaries which is difficult to overcome, that is, the plight of life. He had the detailed thinking about values of lives, ideal personality and realm of life conducted.Naoya Shiga's works based on usual things, his create usually focus on the nature and character of the thinking mind to mediate the plights of the contradictions of life, there are many similarities and common ground with the philosophy of Zhuang Zi's life. This article analyze Naoya Shiga's creative ideas from the perspective of Zhuang Zi's philosophy of life, explore their start of thinking. What are the similarities and the common with the philosophy of life of great Chinese philosopher Zhuang Zi in these conceptions.
