Exile The Last Romantist Mind

This paper basing on close reading on Shen Congwen's novel in 1940s, especially those marginal ones, attempts to explore his complex inner world, by showing the writer's internal psychological situation and the track of thinking. In order to lay the picture of his spirit, and sketch out his deeper layers of the inner exile, I chose this three dimensions——daily sight, creative pursuit and local complex. It aims to restore the wealth of the writer, which is close to the reality. The most of all, supposition and explanation both base on the writer's works.
