Since China and South Korea established the diplomatic relations in 1992, the exchanges in economics, politics and culture between two countries are getting more and more.Many Korean movies and TV plays become hot in China, which makes the"Korean Wave"popular.The reason lies in that China and South Korea both belong to the"Circle of Confucius Culture".In this article, the influence of Confucianism on South Korea is stated through analyzing the Korean movies and TV plays in the spirit of seeking truth from facts, so that the young fans of Korean plays will have deep thinking on Korean culture when they watch these plays, which will help the peoples of two countries get to common views in consciousness, be important to explore the exchanges in economics, politics and culture between two countries and be valuable for the inheritance of Chinese Confucianism.There are seven parts in this article.The first part is the premise and the introduction of background.The emergence, development of Confucianism in Korea Peninsula and its influence on modern South Korea are summarized in this part.The general situation of Korean movies and TV plays are introduced in the second part.The representations of Confucian moral thought including"Loyalty","Filial Piety","Benevolence","Harmony","Marriage Value","Hierarchical social structure"in Korean movies and TV plays are presented from the third to the sixth part.The summary of Confucianism in Korean movies and TV plays is in the last part, which is divided into active and negative parts.
