According to the comprehensive analysis of the teaching mode definition made by scholars at home and abroad, the thesis first defines the connotation of teaching mode that will be studied. Then the dissertation analyses the research achievements of the teaching mode in the field of teaching Chinese as a Second Language and the fields related to teaching Chinese as a Second Language from the aspects of teaching procedure and teaching method, meanwhile pointing out these research achievements can provide some enlightenment on how to construct the mode of grammar teaching. After that, the thesis carries out an analysis of the status quo of the grammar teaching mode in the intermediate stage, and points out its advantages and disadvantages. Based on inheriting these advantages and drawing on the previous research achievements of the teaching mode in all fields connected with teaching Chinese as a Second Language, aimed at the existing disadvantages of the grammar teaching in the intermediate stage, the dissertation puts forward the grammar teaching mode which is mainly led by"the outline for guiding learning"and constructs the grammar teaching mode in terms of the five aspects: teaching theory, teaching aim, teaching procedure, teaching condition and evaluation. Finally, it concludes with a case, through putting the grammar teaching mode into practice, and makes objective evaluation of the grammar teaching mode proposed by this thesis in the intermediate stage.
