Historical experience tells us: the practice without theory is blind, and the theory without practice is an empty theory, therefore, translation practice should not only be built on the theory of Chinese-English comparison, but also should provide theoretical material for the Chinese-English comparison. This paper tries to compare the Chinese synonymous nouns with the English synonymous nouns, on the one hand, try to probe into the causes of the relative synonymous nouns,from the aspects of gradability, polysemy and fuzziness. On the other hand, try to explore the influence factors of Chinese-English translation from the aspects of language, culture and psychology , and combining the comparison results, talk about Chinese-English translation skills, then form the translation theory which could be applied to the practice of teaching chinese nouns to speakers of other languages.
