Under the background of modern high-speed economic development and increasingly fast life rhythm of people, the thesis carries out the analysis of Shanxi insole pattern. This study helps people to feel unique folk culture in diverse and fast life rhythm, to low pace of life, and to relieve the pressure of modern life.The thesis arranges and analyzes the literature and case information of insole pattern, respectively, with research methods of literature and case, and then analyzes formal aesthetic feeling of insole pattern, feels peculiar auspicious patterns in its modeling as well as culture connotation that each pattern represents. The thesis is composed of seven parts. Part 1 introduces the background of traditional embroidery, and sums up the artistic characteristics and cultural of traditional insole embroidery craft in Shanxi province. Part 2 puts forward the material and technique that the current embroidery pattern learned from the traditional one. Part 3 summarizes insole decorating pattern and analyzes its forms. Part 4 visually analyzes the plastic art, composition forms and color matching of insole and analyzes the unique artistic charm of Shanxi insole style. Part 5 analyzes the format of Shanxi insole style. Part 6 dialyzes the meaning of insole pattern from the viewpoint of its emotional expression and cultural connotation. The last part makes a summary for the insole pattern art, in order to get a balance between culture atmosphere of insole and the current busy life rhythm, and to develop the insole embroidery culture better in the future.
