The Problem And Solution: Perspectives Of The Animation Industry In Guangxi

It is recently a major strategy to boost economic growth by developing cultural industry in Guangxi. In Guangxi Twelfth Five-year Program, cultural industry has been developed by Guangxi government as one of the industries of great significance in which animation industry plays an important role.With its short history, the animation industry in Guangxi still needs to take its best endeavors to make up the wide gap between it and those advanced ones in other provinces.This article, based on a solid and thorough research, is of guiding significance and intends to provide proper reference to the devolopment of animation industry in Guangxi.Theories on cultural industry, observational methods and field study are adopted in this study. After investigated there aspects——producers and managers, the procucts and services and the consumers of animation, animation industry in Guangxi is defined as to be in the forming period, a time for accumulating experience. During this period, the industry in Guangxi is less competitive, compared with those developed ones of the esten provinces, but there has been a steady increase from the overall perspective. While confronted with problems such as government's administrative measures that needs improvement, animation products that can not meet the market demands, animation companies lacking management marketization, the animation industry in Guangxi is facing an unprecedented opportunity.There are not many firms working on each section of the business train of animation industry of Guangxi, which means competition will mainly come from external pressure rather than internal one.Therefore, in order to form the flagship of animation industry in Guangxi, all the all the links in the industrial chain should clung tightly together to develop in an intensive way with the support from the goverment, keeping a panoramic view over the situation, giving full play to its advantages, integrating and utilizing resources, adopting market based managerial methods and strengthening administration and supervision over the industry.
