Yong Symphony The "tonggu Soul" Of Creative Techniques

Chen Yong is a national leadership of Chinese famous composers. In recent years, he composed many music works and his works refer to different genre and styles. His works and essays have been published in many professional journals and books in Yunnan and even in China. Some of his works also brought him prizes and awards, such as, the ethnic dancing play "Qiao Xiang Tong Gu", the Symphonic piece "Spirit of Bronze Drum" etc. some of his music pieces vividly and clearly reveal his speciality in arts.This papers mainly researches on the symphonic piece "Spirit of Bronze Drum" its composing techniques and styles. The thesis includes three chapters.The first chapter is brief introduction. The first part is the introduction of author; the second part is the simple introduction of Bronze drum; the third part is the author's experience in composing "Spirit of Bronze Drum"; the forth part is compare symphonic music pieces and one symphony and then introduces the genre of the symphonic music pieces.The second chapter analyzes and gives a conclusion on the features of techniques on the symphonic music pieces. Composing techniques, the most important part of the thesis, have been studies from modes, harmony, motivation, theme, melody, rhythm and dubbing. In the诗irst part, the author uses the following modes, the gamut, the half gamut, ambiguous mode, mode of five tones with neutral tone in two different modes, etc.The forth part analyses and conclude the features of melody; the fifth part analyzes rhythm; the sixth part tells the techniques. The seventh part analyses the work piece and conclude composing techniques of musical forms.The third chapter analyses the influence of composing techniques on ethnic morality and homophony. His works appreciate the beauty of nature, and describe people's favors, personality, morality, and life's goal. His works with a strong feeling are closely connected to nature. And he is on his way to success in arts.
