Habermas is one important member of the Frankfurt school, he emphasizes critical theory method. According to Habermas, the root of the problems of modernity lies in the imperfection of rational development, rather than the overflow of it put forward by other theorists. He argues that before him, all the modern social critical theories have fallen into the trap of ideological philosophy, in other words,"symptoms of exhaustion". To this theoretical problem, Habermas puts forward his own solution, that is, paradigm shift and rational re-explanation, and on the basis of which he constructs the mansion of his modern social theory studies. What's more, the key to the adjustment of Habermas's religious theological views lie in his pondering over the scared dimension position and homing. And his "acknowledgement" dialectic succeeds to the critical tradition ever since Marx. Furthermore, Habermas develops his unique social critical theory that the essence of social evolution is actually the course of duality and mutual overcoming of the living world and social system. However, Habermas wrongly contradicts Marx's labour and the communicative activities of the people, and exaggerates the negative effects of science and ration on current society, which lead to the failure of his remedy of the world. But the theory of modernity habermas modernization cannot ignore still has the effect, his theory to the reconstruction of literary theory in China have a great enlightenment significance.
