On Sex Symbol In The Graphic Design

A symbol is the main element in graphic design, and sex symbol can reflect the cultural features and implications of the design from different perspectives of time, region and nationality. In graphic design, the application and design of sex symbols can not only reflect the aesthetic requirements, but also reflect the cultural implications of the graphic design, and extensively apply sex symbols into different aspects in graphic design by means of thoeries and cases.This paper elaborates the applications of sex symbols from perspective of time and space in graphic design by expressing the artistic features and cultural connnotations. At the mean time of summarizing the methods of the applications of sex symbols in graphic design,it proposes the directions of sex symbols'development and the application value in modern graphic design so as to help improve the thoeries and practice of graphic design.
