With the development of science and technology, people is being introduced to non-material social substance of society by the representative of the application and popularization of information technology of microelectronics, digital communications technology. In non-material social information and services as the main competitiveness in business, the role of packaging design and the focus shifted. Limited to the traditional sense, such as point, line and surface design of the material form of language content will be challenged.As a product of commodity circulation, Package is one of necessary in our lives, which is closely related wim our daily lives. With the development of science and technology, the continuously abundance of material wealth, the continuous improvement of sustainable consumption, and the rise of personal demand, mankind is about to enter the experience economy era. Modem packaging not only represents a container of goods, but also a method to guide consumption, a way of life, and the orientation of cultural value. From the view of consumer psychological need, it seem to increasingly important that designers must be solve the packaging mental function. As the driving force of consumer behavior, emotion playing all important role in the achievement process of the "Designer-packaging-consumers" model. Therefore, the packaging design laid more emphasis on the mental function of aesthetic from material function. As a design idea cartier of emotional experience, packaging design how to stimulate consumer emotional experience is becoming the focus in modem design.This paper elaborate the meaning of emotional experience, elements, and the three levels of emotional experience theory, and summed up the features of emotional experience design. At the same time, I made a detmled relationship analysis between emotions and packaging design of the graphics, color, shape, materials, functions. Then, this article also summarized the characteristics of emotional packaging design and the unique function and value. In the consumption model of modem consumer-driven, the paper research the entry point of emotional experience design that is consumer's emotional needs and buying motives.
