Geographical indication system originated from modern Europe. Although geographical indication protection system of China starts relatively late, also has a rapid development in recent years. Through the investigation and study of geographical indication products on the market at present,the author found that, although those products with good quality and reputation, there are widespread packaging roughly,and do not make enough use of the region culture feature. if you don’t consider these problems and phenomenon,there will become the bottleneck of enterprise development, and then influence the development of regional economy, Therefore, raising the level of geographical indication products packaging design is particularly important.This topic to the innovation of the geographical indication product packaging emotional design as the research object, through emotional and relationship between geographical indication products, make the design of packaging has a certain emotional arousal. And based on the regional history and culture of origin geographical indication products, combined with the function of packaging design, positioning method and so on, to convey the role of geographical features.
