With the arrival of the experience economy and the continuous strengthening of China's overall international competitiveness,especially since 2013 cosmetics as "national ceremony" have to go abroad,with the characteristics of Chinese cosmetics have become emotional carrying witness friendly exchanges,in cosmetics has a certain representative and symbolic significance.This means the gradual internationalization of cosmetics in China,cosmetics packaging design also put forward higher requirements.The focus on emotional experience design not only to meet the growing needs of consumers,but also on the geographical,cultural,ethnic,history and other fields through multiple senses will bind together people's psychological resonance.This paper is based on the cosmetic packaging design as the core,using the relevant theories of emotional design psychology,perceptual,cognitive psychology and Gestalt psychology as the basis of case comparison.Comparison of cosmetic packaging design in many countries,analyzing the importance of emotional design in packaging in the cosmetics and the application,combined with the questionnaire survey to explore the emotional design of cosmetics in the packaging,cosmetics packaging and collecting the emotional needs of vocabulary,using Likert scale screening works,through statistical clustering algorithm classified the consumer cosmetics packaging design in China to adapt to the emotional needs of vocabulary,and summarizes related design elements and emotional extraction.Finally,through the project practice of “Dr.Plant”cosmetics packaging,this paper summarizes the relevant content and design principles.It is hoped that on the world stage,China's comprehensive strength and confidence in the history of the occasion,the future of domestic cosmetics packaging design to provide a certain reference value.
