The Dialect Vocabulary Studying Of Fangshan County Of Shanxi Province

The dialects'research of our country has a long history, but many scholars maintain that dialects'differences mainly embody in pronunciation and grammar. As a result, dialects'research also mainly reflects in these two aspects. While vocabulary's research has always been ignored, it is a relatively weak part and has little research results. In order to make up this research vacancy, the thesis starts from this point of view and analyzes Fang Shan County's dialect glossary deeply and comprehensively.The thesis mainly uses the way of synchronic description and diachronic description. Through the comparison to National Common Language, it also analyzes major features and evolution laws of Fangshan Dialect Glossary comprehensively and systematically. Besides, it lists some dialect custom vocabulary to reflect its cultural significance.The thesis mainly separates into four chapters. There is an introduction in the front of the thesis and a conclusion in the behind.The introduction mainly explains the meaning and effects of the topic.In order to make a preliminary understanding of Fangshan Dialect and lay a solid foundation for the whole thesis, Chapter One makes a brief introduction of the studying situation about Shanxi Dialect and Fangshan Dialect in China and foreign countries; Fangshan County's overview, including geography, population, areas and history. In addition, it introduces Fangshan Dialect's attribution, internal partitions and main features.Chapter Two analyzes features of Fangshan Dialect Glossary from the angle of synchronic description and mainly focus on word form, semantic and grammar so as to conclude some unique features of Fangshan Dialect Glossary.Chapter Three discusses etymology features of Fangshan Dialect Glossary from the angle of diachronic description so as to reflect its historical evolution laws.Chapter Four mainly illustrates some dialect custom vocabulary, involving clothes, foods, houses, weddings, funerals, seasonal ages, children's games and some dialect sayings. Meanwhile, there are some attached explaining pictures.
