Acquisition Environment. Teaching Chinese As A Foreign Language And Cultural Construct

Recently, Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language is developing so fast that Chinese is enjoying an international popularity around the world. There are mainly two factors for this progress. On one hand, the country's comprehensive national strength has been strengthened. On the other hand, Chinese culture devotes a lot to the popularity of the language. However, due to the lack of Chinese culture teaching, the average Chinese level of foreign students is very low. If the situation goes on, the learning process would be harder and harder. What'more, with the enlargement of the country's opening to the outside world, there would be more and more cultural conflicts because of culture differences. Thus, Teaching of Chinese as a Foreign Language should be a second language education mixed with Chinese culture education. However, culture teaching can not be adequately concerned in the daily teaching. As a result, the conflict between culture teaching and cultural need occurs.With the development of language teaching, the big effect of the environment to language learning is widely accepted. But the close relationship between the environment and culture is always ignored. However, some experts begin to pay attention to the relationship between them. Thus, the author holds that the best way to solve the conflict between language teaching and culture teaching is to construct culture acquisition environment.In accordance with previous research, this thesis aims to make further research of the construction of culture acquisition environment and put forward three specific ways of constructing.There are mainly four chapters in this thesis, including a brief introduction, the need to build culture acquisition environment, the content of the culture acquisition environment and principles which should be followed during the process of constructing and three specific ways to construct culture acquisition environment.
