To emphasize the cross-cultural communication ability of TCFL teachers in teaching Chinese as a foreign language, and the consideration of improving the ability to the core of the basic qualities of TCFL teachers, is based on the relatively objective understanding of TCFL——No matter where to teach Chinese, at home or in a foreign country, first it’s a cross-cultural communication behavior, then a behavior of teaching Chinese.The goal of Chinese culture teaching, is neither a professional education of culture, nor the understanding of Chinese based on the appreciation, but is Chinese culture teaching under the background of TCFL. Its most fundamental goal is to improve the acceptance, understanding and using ability of learners of Chinese."Teaching is the materialization of teaching thoughts and teaching principles, methods, requirements and methods, is the important intermediary of teaching knowledge to students, and to cultivate students’ability. It’s not only the basis of students’learning, and also reflects the basic standards of teachers’teaching work". Therefore, the cultural textbooks of TCFL can directly reflect the present situation of cross-cultural consciousness in TCFL, and the performance of ability training in cross-cultural communication of cultural textbooks, can directly reflect the comprehensive ability of TCFL.On investigation and analysis of two cultural textbooks of TCFL, the article attempts to study the cross-cultural consciousness of cultural textbooks. Study on the current situation, trends and the proposal of development is the core content of the article. It first elaborates the theory of intercultural communication study, followed by the overview of status and research contents of TCFL cultural textbooks. On the basis of the research of cross-cultural communication theory, it analysis and evaluates the present TCFL textbooks. It studies on the cross-cultural perspective of the TCFL textbooks from writing style, selection of the content, language application, and presents some opinions or suggestions of writings of the TCFL textbooks.
