Proverb is the crystallization of nation's long history of experience and wisdom, It's rich in content, involves the nation's history, culture, religion, customs and language, called as folk encyclopedia. Not only in our daily lives or work of literary translation we often use it. Like any other translation, Uygur-Chinese proverbs'translating is a very important work to do. Translating of proverbs can help us to understand the things that are difficult to express or difficult to understand in other languages, and can develop the relationship between the Uygur-Chinese language. In order to, make the job well. First of all, we should to familiar with the proverbs. Familiar with the proverb is the need to master a language, help to understand the ways of thinking and customs of the ethnic, historical, religious and cultural backgrounds, as well as help to promote the exchanges between the two languages. However, due to the difference in many aspects of the Uyghur and Chinese two languages in the language features, expression, culture, and history, on translation of the Uighur proverbs there is not yet a theoretical standardized things, the translation of individual proverbs there have been some mistakes, some rigid and literal translation, lost their original charm, some are lack of content, and meaning distortion. Based on these issues, to express its contents in the proverbs and reflect the Uyghur proverbs style, this paper tried to use famous American translation theorist Eugene Nida's "Dynamic Equivalence" translating theory. Based on "Dynamic Equivalence"principle, listing proverbs methods and techniques, apply them to the Uygur-Chinese proverb translating.To improve the quality and level of translation as a starting point. Therefore, the author attempts in this area to do some research. By considering of length of paper and the author's level, the research of this paper is not doing in-depth, only to illustrate on Uygur-Chinese proverb translation.This paper consists of two parts they are theoretical and practical part. Theoretical parts is including the introduction, the overview of Eugene Nida's dynamic equivalence theory, and the Overview of Proverbs.In the introduction part will explain the reason of the topics of this thesis, domestic and overseas researches on the dynamic equivalence and research methods. Introduced and draw on the basis of the results of previous studies, put forward their own ideas and research methods.The first chapter mainly talking about Eugene Nida's dynamic equivalence, first of all introduced the Nida to the readers,his life and work of arts at every parts, then talking about how dynamic equivalence of theory comes out, the definition of dynamic equivalence, it's conditions and other aspects.The second chapter is mainly talking about four aspects they are the definition of the proverb, the source of Uyghur proverbs, and characteristics of the Uighur proverbs (mainly about semantic content and structure) and the importance of translation Uighur proverbs.Practice part is start from chapter three, is Nida's Dynamic Equivalence in Translating of Uygur-Chinese proverbs. This part consists of seven sections, Section one to Section three is mainly about form, meaning, and style equivalence in translating of Uygur-Chinese proverbs, section four is mainly discuss about the three aspects factors that impact of style,they're mainly from,the form and meaning of proverbs, rhythm eating customs and religious factors. Section five is on reader response. Section six is evaluation of Nida's translation theory. Section seven introduced other methods of Uygur-Chinese proverbs translation. The last part is a summary of the whole text.The ethnic cultural spirits of the Uygur proverbs are put to this filed and the classifying of proverb. At the same time in some places compared with the Chinese proverb, in order to highlight the uniqueness of the Uighur proverbs.
