The Interpretation And Acceptance Of "Zheng Sound" In Han Dynasty

"Zheng Sound"was a kind of folk music of Zheng during the stage of the Spring and Autumn,but it didn't exist in Han Dynasty."Zheng Sound"of Han dynasty in this article is another word of folk music in a broad sense. The interpretation of"Zheng Sound"in Han dynasty has double standard of value: aesthetic standards and ideological standards. Therefore, it constitutes the opposition of the refined and popular tastes, the elite culture and popular culture .This article tries to research on the interpretation in Han dynasty and state of mind of culture, standard of aesthetics and orientation of value at that time from the point of Cultural Poetics and multi-culture under historical language and culture background. Then it further discusses how people make cultural choices when facing the deep reform and transformation of the society.The positive and negative meaning of"Zheng Sound"in Han dynasty lies in : Confucian ,s way of speech,"Institution of Meaning in Accordance with Canons", was formed in Han dynasty and the original meaning of"Zheng Sound"had been misunderstood since Confucius brought about"Zheng kingdom's music being lewd"."Shi-Wu-Da-Gu"and"Shi-You-Zhuan-Gu"are the symbol of"aesthetic criticism", the development and extension of"Instruction of Poem". Therefore, that"Zheng Sound"was objected by Confucian in Han dynasty had its reasons.The acceptance of"Zheng Sound"lies in two aspects: on the one side, Confucian classics has become a official speech with the historical background of Confucian classics playing a leading role and Confucians"Poem teaching of Confucianism,"became the tool of autocratic monarchy, resulting in"Music being relation to Politics"rejected"Zheng Sound". On the other side, with the development of economy and the flourish of popular music,"Zheng Sound"is widely used. The usage of"Zheng Sound"in Han dynasty on criticism and creation lies in that it is mainly used in royal court and that"Zheng Sound"and popular music led to the development of"Music Burea".Finally, the social ideology of the refined and the popular is constituted.In the end, the article suggested that development of the the elite culture and popular culture is mutually functioning. We should try to make the two develop in harmony through coordination and complementation , arouse people to pay attention to the common society and seek a higher level spirit, which is the inspiration the "Zhen Sound" in Han dynasty brought us.
