Bilingualism presents commonly as a phenomenon of social culture. The bilingual or multi-lingualism is quite typical in China,especially in the Minority Tribe.Because of more business connection, the development of technology,the movement of people,intermarriage between tribes,especially with the policy of pushing Mandarin,the enhancement of English ecucation,there are more types of bilingual or multi-lingualism.This thesis is going to use the date of survey about the using of Languages of MU LAO Tribe in Luo Cheng, GuangXi Province. There are three chapters as the main body of the thesis.Chapter2:Ability of bilingualism or multi-lingualism:This thesis is going to describe the ability of bilingualism or multi-lingualism in the following three directions:Territoriality,Physiology and Sociality.There are four resident village:multiethnos like Baoju and Lisheng, pure ethno likeTongjiang and Dongmen..Physiology will be subdivided to Gender and Age.Sociality will be subdivided to be threesections:Educational attainment,Occupation,Personal experience.Chapter3is going to describe and analyse how do people use the languages in family occasions,social occasions as well. The language preference alternate according to the audience:Within the family, it's different when talking to parents, spouse or children. In social occasions, we would research the language usage when it's communicating with the neighbour and acquaintances,or in hospital, in market and in the city Hall office.Chapter4is going to have a description on speakers'attitude to certain language including Guiliu Language, Mulao Language, Mandarin and English. People's attitude to teaching language would also be one of the topics.It will discuss the attitude of Guiliu Language and Mulao Language by dicussing the connection about the first language you learned and the connection with the popular language.
