A Study On The Language Use And Language Attitude Of The Kazakh People In The City

Ethnic minority language is an indispensable part of Chinese culture.Kuitun is a city with Han nationality,multi-ethnic,multilingual and multicultural,the language used by various nationalities is unevenly distributed in the region and the number of people,and the use of language is complex and diverse.The city Kazak is in this special language area for a long time,its language usage condition and the related language attitude,the factors that affect language use,language attitude and language development prospects,these are the important contents of the study of language life in the multi-ethnic areas.This research takes Kuitun Kazak as the object of investigation,adopts the method of social linguistics investigation,namely questionnaire survey and interview,supplemented by literature method,observation method,taking the study of Kazak language usage and language attitude in multi-ethnic area as a case,try to answer the above questions.The Altai community is a Kuitun Kazak inhabited area,Kazak is the ethnic communication language of Kazak,and Chinese is the main ethnic communication language of different nationalities.Kazak is the Kazak language and the national general language bilingual person;the Kazak family language use presents certain intergenerational difference.Different nationalities have the highest expectation on the social status of Mandarin and Chinese,it is affected by the social characteristic especially by the education level and the occupation,the language environment,the inter-ethnic intermarriage state,the language attitude and so on.
