| Depression is a serious mental disease, mortality and morbidity is very high. Depression as a cold generally affects everyone's life, and the age of the depression happened to drop, therefore, to carry out research on depression for human mental health is very important and necessary. The study found that depression can influence the autonomic nervous system activities; especially the parasympathetic composition and depression are related. But, in the past about depression and the autonomic nervous activity of the results are not consistent, and the research object and more focused on patients with clinical depression group. So, what is the relation between depression and the autonomic nervous activity, especially with the parasympathetic nerve activity in normal group?Trait depression as depression personality dimensions, it is to point to a lack of pleasure as the core of the symptoms of lasting and stable personality. It reflects the strength of the inclination of the individual performance to some types of response. Researches about depression and the autonomic nervous system are always using heart rate variability (HRV) as a physiological index to analyze. And the heart rate variability analysis method is5minutes spectrum analysis method.Objective: this study on the basis of past research, trying to explore the relation during personality traits, emotional response and the autonomic nervous activity in students groups (the clinical depression group), to study heart rate variability differences between high-trait depression group and low-trait depression group of college students. Research hypotheses as follows:(1) high qualities depression college students'baseline of HRV level were lower than the low qualities';(2) after the depression emotion induced, high depression college students HRV and HF were reduced, and less than the low group.Method:this study includes two experiments. Study1analysis the emotion evoking of films. The result is the clip from the movie my siblings had successfully evoking people's sad emotion. This clip was using as the stimuli in study2. Study2used2(personality: high trait depression VS low trait depression)×3(resting state VS mood provocation period VS recovery period) mixed study method. The mainly indexes including: heart rate (HR), heart rate reactivity (HRV) and respiratory sinus arrhythmia (RSA).The results includes:(1) In the rest state, the HR,HF,RSA was significantly different between the high-trait depression group and the low-trait depression group, but the LF between two group was not significantly different, the difference in LF/HF was margin marked. This results suggest that parasympathetic activity level in high-trait depression group is lower than in low-trait depression group;(2) In recovery period, the HR,HF,RSA was not significantly different between the high-trait depression group and the low-trait depression group.Conclusion: In the rest state, it is significantly different between the high-trait depression group and the low-trait depression group. |
