Disposal Strategy Of University Group Events

In recent years, various types of group events in China have continued without interruption, universities as an important part of the society, its overall situation remained stable, but there were some group events had happened, such as in Province S in 2003, the students protested against the obscene performance by Japanese students, in 2005 nearly a thousand students gathered and thwarted the campus in a college of Province J, and in the evening of December 24,2007, in a university campus in province T,the group events caused by the traffic accident. To sum up, the following contradictions and problems may cause group events:graduate employment situation is grim, illegal enrollment violations of private college, violations of organizing Full-time Self-learning Programs, the campus and surrounding security environment, the unnatural deaths of students, in addition, the issues related to Taiwan and Tibet, and the problem of Sino-Japanese relations are also sensitive factors. Group events is the outstanding problem which will influence the stability of university, it is not only has a greater negative impact on good order, and also challenges the good moral atmosphere, and some may even evolve into a serious social problem and political issues.This paper borrows social conflict theory and governance theory as a research tool, the part of the university group events as an example, to analyze the university group events, it has the following characteristics:spread fast, network extreme, social interaction, main body activity, seriously affected, and so on. The formation process and causes of university group events were also discussed. This paper focus on the deficiencies in prevention awareness, the legal system, psychological intervention, harmonious culture, information monitoring, financial input, and the daily training of Chinese universities, exploring the problems and reasons in disposal process of university group events. Under the guidance of people-oriented, public participation, mindful of danger, prevention first, timely and efficiently, rapid response, disposal according to law, strengthen supervision, dredge and enlighten, pay attention to arts. According to the summarized reasons for the incident, and the shortcomings and causes of university group events disposal system, to propose the specific measures of treating university group events properly.
