Rural migrant workers are a special social group during China's special historical period. It is not only the product of China's economic system reform and social structure transformation, but also the results of traditional urban-rural binary system design. It is the only way which must be passed for China's urbanization that farmers span the city's "threshold", work, live, and settled in cities, then gradually integrate into urban society. In this process, the question that how to eliminate the various kinds of social exclusion for rural migrant workers who work in cities, realize the transformation from rural migrant workers to citizens, and finally integrate into the city society, have become the hot topic in academic circles, and an unavoidable, important theoretical and practical significance problem. We try to resurvey and explore the problem of rural migrant workers integrate into the city society on the basis of existing study.The first part is introduction. In the first place, through the introduction of subject meaning to explain the importance of researching the rural migrant workers about integration and the important significance of the research on this problem for solving related social problems. Secondly, to define the related concept of social exclusion, rural migrant workers, inclusion and integration has established the good theoretical basis for systematically and roundly explaining the problem of rural migrant workers about integration. Thirdly, to summarize the existing study is to make a deeper analysis and discuss on the basis of the existing study. Finally, mad the introduction of the research methods.The second part interprets the status of the rural migrant workers about integration. Firstly, we indicate the survival situation of rural migrant workers in cities through the relevant data, including conditions of life, work and welfare. Secondly, introduces the status of rural migrant workers about integration form three aspects of economy, society and psychology.The third part analyzes the reasons of rural migrant workers about integration form the point of social exclusion. This part makes the analysis mainly from two dimensions of structural and functional social exclusion. Structural social exclusion interprets the obstruction impact of social exclusion for rural migrant workers about integration mainly from four aspects of household registration system exclusion, employment system exclusion, social security system exclusion and obligation education system exclusion. Functional social exclusion interprets the obstruction impact of social exclusion for rural migrant workers about integration mainly from two aspects of social exclusion caused by lack of human and social capital.The forth part analyzes the exclusion path of city social exclusion system from empirical point. Through the interviews survey on 30 rural migrant workers and 40 city residents found that city social exclusion system is divided into four aspects:restrictions of system and policies, negative attitude of employing unit, misdirection of mass media and discrimination of urban residents.The fifth part discusses the opportunities and the paths of present rural migrant workers about integration. The construction of harmonious society and the growing new generation of rural migrant workers are the two great opportunities of rural migrant workers about integration. For the paths of rural migrant workers about integration, this paper suggests that there are three aspects of system coordination, urban social acceptance and rural migrant workers own endeavors, and the three aspects should jointly promote, none is dispensable.
