Freedom Due To Community

Since the Berlin has made a distinction between positive and negative freedom in the"two concepts of Freedom", and Berlin trends to stand by the sense of negative freedom,thinking of this freedom is that people must defend the lowest inviolable fields. Almost all western theoretical endorsed the this definition,even some people develop to a more extreme form. They think that any of the constraints and restrictions are violation of freedom,all concept except self-interest and individual rights are excluded . In fact, the interpretation about negative sense of freedom is not Berlin's initiate. But freedom has been a clear definition and connotation; people give it a negative sense of the definition. And with the abolition of the western bourgeoisie against the feudal system and religious oppression of the Renaissance to the Enlightenment and the rights and aspirations of individual freedom and independence to meet the prevailing, trend of the times and politics. So the negative sense of freedom in the western theory expands unlimitedly. The analysis of existent conditions of ancient and modern human freedom made the freedom further spread. Subsequent Theorists seek for a reasonable theoretical basis for negative in this context. Therefore, negative freedom as an ideology and weapon of defending bourgeois interest has obtained the unprecedented achievement, and tend to win step by step.Negative freedom is the freedom from. and its essence is that use the right to restrict power. But positive freedom is the freedom to do, and its essence is to grasp the power by the individual person, to protect or gain more rights in the process of gaining power. So, we can see, negative freedom just keeps our guard "sacrosanct rights ", and blocked our access to gain the power. This move could eliminate many dangers, but it may make us lost the things we stand thoroughly. Because when we give up the freedom of political and community, we will get into trouble because of loss of community.Therefore, we must protect our individual freedom, and move towards true freedom. Only if use content that positive freedom included, from right to power, from individual freedom to free community, this is the only way we can find a way out in the situation of contemporary freedom to trouble.
