Since ancient times, lawyer is always a controversial title. Regardless of their identity and status change, they have always been the person "who dance with shackles". While make them have special rights, the special nature of occupation be bound to give them many restrictions. What's more, the subtle relationship between legal and moral make lawyers lost. They're in a dilemma. How can lawyers smooth out the moral dilemmas in professional practice is the problem that the author more concern.In Chongqing, a storm which breakout in order to combat gangdom shocked all the country with the speed of the wind sweeping the leaves. Many former high-level cadres' name in Chongqing judiciary organ and Mr.Big are in parallel, which aroused widespread concern. In this process, which is famous for this storm is not only gangleaders but also another group of people who associated with gangleaders—their defence lawyers. Overnight, the defence counsel of Mr.Big gain considerable fame.The outbreak of "false door of lawyers"also makes a lot of lawyers cautious at one time.It is worth exploring that how lawyers should work in the future.In this article I want to address some issues. First, whether a lawyer is the accomplice of "bad guys" and whether their party is a bad man is the reason that the defense lawyers refuse to defence. Second, whether a counsel is the embodiment of justice and the correction of the image of lawyer.Third, a counsel have been tempting to become the spokesman for the party. Fourth, how the lawyers can get out of moral dilemmas. The author is set in a storm which breakout in order to combat gangdom in Chongqing, raise concern about moral dilemma in professional practice of lawyers, analyze the causes, and thus explore the methods of getting rid of moral dilemma of lawyers.
