He united the workers and peasants and actively cooperated with Kuomintang, Militarists who favor northern expedition and other social communities, which gained him the elementary experience about multi-party cooperation although it didn't succeed due to that he did not get the leadership in the cooperation; Second, difficult development of his thoughts. From the failure of the great revolution to the second period of Kuomintang and the Communist Party of China cooperation, he realized the importance of Mao Zedong's leadership and got rid of the negative effect from the left and right thoughts. He devoted himself to the united front against Japan's intrusion and gradually found out the principles of multi-party cooperation:Seeking common points while reserving the differences, Combination of principle and flexibility, Keep unity and fighting, and finally found out ways of dealing with multi-party cooperation and adopted it successfully. Third, Li Weihan's thoughts become widely adopted and became mature during the practice of multi-party cooperation after the foundation of China. At one hand, Li Weihan leads the United Front Ministry to act based on the Common program, dealing properly with the relationship with other parties, helping all democratic parties with the party construction, promoting them to participate in the revolution and construction of socialism, making contribution to the consolidation of the country. On the other hand, he helps the democratic people to enhance their political conscientiousness to go in line with the Communist Party at the same time protect their own interests. The practice and experience of Li Weihan and other leaders of the United Front has provided realistic and mental basis for the principle of the multi-party cooperation-Long-term coexistence, mutual supervision.Third, Conclusion of the main contents of Li Weihan's Multi-party Cooperation thoughts. There are four points. First, Li Weihan's acknowledgement of the social functions of the Multi-party cooperation. He realized that the workers class can only liberate themselves by liberating all the people in all classes. He also realized the significance of the multi-party cooperation in promoting the revolution and construction in the China at that time. Second, Li Weihan's acknowledgement of the ways of keeping the leadership of multiparty cooperation in difference periods. In he revolutionary times, we should get the leadership of the united front by defeating the common enemy and protecting the interest of the allies; after the foundation of China, we should get the leadership in a different way:we should get the recognition from all democratic parties by leading them in the socialism revolution and construction and making achievements, at the same time we should teach them and help them make progress together with the Communist Party. Third, conclusions of his definition of the responsibility that the United Front Ministry of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China should undertake when executing the policy "Long-term coexistence, mutual supervision" and the related working means. We will expound that from two respects:dealing with mul-tiparty cooperation relationship and democratic parties playing a role in supervision. Forth, Li Weihan's means and approaches of helping democratic parties with their party construction work.Part Four, Analysis of the historical significance of Li Weihan's Multi-party Cooperation thoughts. We can realize the significance of his thoughts from several aspects:contribution to the united front work and national construction of democratic parties, enhancing their political recognition of the Communist Party; contribution that the Democratic Revolution Committee of China, Democratics Ally and Democratics Promotion Community make during the national construction process.In conclusion, this essay will analyze and sort out the memoirs and books of Li Weihan with document analysis approach and expound the development of Li Weihan's multi-party cooperation thoughts and its main contents with conbinatin of history and statement approach, so as to come to the conclusion that Li Weihan forms his thoughts under the guideline of Mao Zedong's thoughts and from his practice and experience of theoretical study and multi-party cooperation. His thoughts are also the valuable results of other leaders in the united front work.
