Nowadays, as the transformation of new military affairs is proceeding fast, the higher requires of the transformation of new military affairs in China and historical missions in the new stage are permitted, especially the innovation ability. To be the main force of the commanders and military builders in the future, the graduate cadets need regular political qualities, hard military abilities and strengthened scientific & cultural knowledge, as well as the higher innovation ability, which is pretty important to the reformation of the military, the quickening of production forms of the battle effectiveness, and the development of the graduate cadets. Under the guidance of the office and the graduate department, the graduate corps in the military universities are facing directly to the graduate cadets, filled with the functions of education, administration and service, and crucial to the cultivation and supervision of the graduate cadets. However, for some reasons, a certain number of corps is limited to the original model of the supervision of the graduate cadets, ignoring the supervision and guidance of the innovation ability. Besides, the phenomenon such as little attentions to the administration system and singleness of the measurements still exist.In this article, first and foremost, based on our own experience of administration and the researches at home and abroad, the theories of innovation guidance are viewed, and the functions of supervision and cultivation on the corps themselves are highlighted. Besides, the views that the supervision and cultivation on the graduate cadets should be leaded from the innovation ideas, abilities and practice, as well as the updating the administration ideas, strengthening the administration groups, building the innovation systems and improving the encouraging rules, are pointed.Secondly, the present situation of the innovation levels of the military graduate cadets and the problems of the corps in the administration of the abilities of the graduate cadets are discussed via the investigation and statistical data from the angles of the corps leaders and cadets, and the effects of abilities of leaders, mechanisms of administration and cadets themselves on the cultivation on the innovation ability of graduate cadets are deeply analyzed.In the following, by considering the theory researches and status analysis, as well as the periodicity characteristic of cadets'ability cultivation, macroscopic principles like regular political , innovation systems, atmosphere build , supervision systems and a serial of specific measurements are put forward so as to solve the problems encounter during the corps'cultivation of cadets'innovation ability. Several scientific advisements and strategies are also presented.At last, using the specific corp as the practice object, the author's supervision working for so many years combined, based on the analysis of military graduate cadets' cultivation of innovation ability presented above, the measures and approaches lodged are carried out so as to prove it.
