As science and technology innovation and development, the information age has brought great changes and unprecedented challenges to today's society. Because of development and diffusion of Internet and its technology, Internet becomes the "fourth media" after newspaper, radio and television and reflects the social public opinion. Network is open, interactive and cost, which enhances synchronous or asynchronous communication between interpersonal and groups. But its hidden nature, breadth and other features have bad effects on that the accuracy of information and communication range can't be effectively controlled. What's a great threat to national security and social stability that public hot-spots and focused events one after another. Therefore, it has profound academic value and strong practical aspect significance on maintaining security and stability of the society to study the evolution rule and improve the early warming response mechanism of the social focused events public opinion.This thesis uses theoretical and empirical analysis to research the network public opinion evolution of social focused events from the basic concepts. From the theoretical analysis, it debates the network public opinion formation ways, extracts the key nodes, builds a mode and then takes spiral-type evolution mode as an example. According to that, it proposes the monitoring and prevention, guidance and control strategies to provide theoretical support for further network public opinion research of social focused events.
