The world is facing food shortages as population growth and the dual pressures of the world each year because of hunger caused by thousands of people lost their lives. Food shortages caused by numerous reasons, however, address the food crisis, the only effective way is to rely on technology. In this situation, transgenic technology has brought hope to mankind. GM technology as a 21st century one of the most great technology, extensive prospect, can improve food production, protect human food security. At the same time, genetically modified food and food safety issues related to, the impact on the environment, intellectual property protection came into being. This study is based on this background and expanded.This article is divided into four chapters. The first chapter from the definition of food security, global food security profile and status of the aspects of food security, food security issues outlined.The second chapter of transgenic technology concept, transgenic technology and traditional technology, relationship, transgenic technology in the food industry on the current application of transgenic technology are the positive and negative risks in four aspects to solve the current food security of the main technical Approach introduced in detail.Chapter III of GM food in an analysis of intellectual property protection.
