Legal Regulation Of Enterprises' Social Responsibility

Enterprises'social responsibility is gradually to be a hot topic these days and its origin can date back to the end of the 19th century or early 20th. Even having experienced the development of more than a century, the debate over enterprises' social responsibility is still going on; our country had requested a wide range of enterprises' social responsibility during the planned-economy period, which was the so-called social enterprises and workers' daily life were all arranged by them. With the modernization of our country's legal system, the enterprises' social responsibility has also been given a new-era meaning.For the concept of enterprises' social responsibility was initially introducted from abroad and the theoretical research of it in our country is still lagging behind the foreign countries, therefore, there is still a vast researching and developing space over this theme.This paper mainly talked about the fundamental concept, the connotation and the function to the development of our society of enterprises' social responsibility which was raised in our country's theoretical circle recent years. On the basis of learning from the excellent researching results and practical experience, the author focused on analyzing the actual situation, the existing problems and shortcomings of the operation of enterprises' social responsibility and in the end got the conclusion that the enterprises' social responsibility must be regulated by law and proposed the suggestion of improving the system of enterprises' social responsibility of our country by concrete legislative regulation. On the problem of strengthening the legal regulation of enterprises' social responsibility, according to our country's real situation and the development of enterprises, the author dissertated how to improve it from legislation and law enforcement.
