Village committee election is the important content of village autonomy system in china, and it's one of forms democratic practice in China .There are a lot of bribery phenomenon at village committee election in recent years, as many reasons, this problem Sparked widespread concerns and reflections, so the article is a stage results of my reflections. At First, we Reviewed and analysis the conception of bribery, because the "People's Republic of China Organic Law on Village Committees" does not require the conception of bribery, many people also have not consensus on it. In my opinion, Bribery is a "acts committed, I re-define the conception from the Subject and the object of bribery,the vote-buying behavior, vote-buying time, after absorption other views on this term. And then, we divided bribery into six types according to three criteria , described the five vote-buying behavior, analysis four characteristics of the current bribery and the harm to the rural community, also Explored the reasons of bribery from three respects, as the men who vote-buying. the men who selling their votes, the system reason and the social factors that affected them .The last question is the thoughts of counter measures to bribery. There are three problems in fathering bribery recent times, as bribery standards are too stringent, ineffective treatment agencies, it is difficult to investigate bribery liability. In order to solve the problems as above, this dissertation propose many countermeasures and suggestions, such as getting a clear conception of bribery and bribery's liability Through legislation, to improve election procedures and election rules, established the election monitoring mechanism, to promote direct democracy, strengthen management systems at china villages, developed village economy and raise farmers'income and so on .
