A Study On Promoting Cohesiveness Of Jiangmen Young Entrepreneurs' Association

With social progress and development, a large number of community organizations appear in our country. Their existence and development play a very important role for mobilizing the social resources, maintaining the social stability and promoting economic development. As the bridge and the link for contacting the young entrepreneurs, the Jiangmen Young Entrepreneurs' Association (JMYEA) services the work of Party & Government and the growth of the young entrepreneurs, which contributed the strength for Jiangmen economic social development. Meanwhile, the JMYEA is facing its inadequate of cohesiveness, such as the sense of belonging and the combining ability of members of the association attenuating. The problem of the construction of the cohesiveness of the JMYEA is the general problem which is specific and varies in different places across the country, and there is not an isolated case in China. Therefore, by studying the problems which are faced in the process of enhancing the cohesiveness construction of the JMYEA, it would provide some references for the healthy development of China s community organizations.This paper takes the JMYEA as the research object, to carry out the discussion and study of cohesiveness construction. Firstly, this paper explains the necessity of strengthening the construction of organizational cohesiveness, which is based on elaborate theories related cohesiveness construction of community organizations, combined with the actual situation in the development of JMYEA. Secondly, through the questionnaire survey and the interview research method, the paper investigates the members public opinion of the cohesiveness of the JMYEA, and then analyzes the condition in the cohesiveness construction and the existence question about the JMYEA. Meanwhile, the paper thoroughly explores the reasons from organizational credibility, system construction, service ability, and culture construction, the internal and external ecology and so on. Thirdly, the paper is full of the enlightenments on the JMYEA s cohesiveness construction, which analyzed respectively from the inspirations and practices of domestic and foreign community associations in Hong Kong, Macao and the United State. Finally, according to the relevant analysis of the JMYEA, the paper put forward to promote the JMYEA s cohesiveness by creating an adaptive development environment, straightening out the internal governance system, and strengthening the self ability construction, improving the external supervision mechanism, and so on.
