Obligation erga omnes is the obligation to the international community as a whole,obligation erga omnes shows that changes occurred in the value of international law, it shows that the common interest of international community is as important as every single country's interest. As a principle of international law, obligation erga omnes plays an important role in the justice of international court, we can see it in many judgments and written opinions. Argument about obligations erga omnes has never ceased since the International Court of Justice put forward the concept in the Barselona case in 1970. Jurists have different opinions on its concept, scope development and so on. But it is a true that obligation erga omnes will be more important in the justice of international court because it is in line with the development trend of international society. we should know a fact that Obligations erga omnes is still in argument and it's a developing concept in the practice and compiling of international law.
