In the past decade, the market is playing a more and more important role in our economy. The economic and social structure had changed, and the legal system had improved significantly. As a result, the relation between employer and employee had changed accordingly. Both of the two sides try to protect their own benefits. When conflict occurred, it then brings kinds of labor dispute. For the small and medium-sized enterprises, they need to understand the relevant legislation more. In the meantime, they will need to re-access their own management system and amend the human resource management strategy, so that they can provent those labor argument and control the relevant risk.This paper has adopted relevant labor/employment legislation, and human resource management theories. We first introduce the current situation in regards of the labor dispute within small and medium-sized companies in Nanshan district, Shenzhen. By analysising the case and data collected from my daily work, we try to summarise different types of labor dispute.Than we then try to investigate the reason behind those labor dispute.Last, based on our analysis, we will provide some solution/suggestion to help those enterprises to prevent the labor dispute.
