With the rapid development of the community and economy, the adjustment of economic structure and the construction of the social country under the rule of law, the area of labor dispute faces complexions and challenges that it never encountered before: the number of labor disputes cases has grown; besides, the methods to deal with these cases has become more complicated. Labor dispute becomes an important social issue not only because it concerns the construction of the harmonious labor relation, but also because labor dispute affects harmony and stability of the community. Additionally, whether labor dispute cases are handled appropriately or not may have a profound influence on the development of the community and the economy.Taking a panoramic view of the researches on managing labor dispute in a decade, these researches concern on and propose measures to the issues such as ‘One arbitration, two trials' system; the prescription of arbitration; the cost and efficiency in safeguarding legal rights;organization construction and the connection of arbitration and trial, etc.. In addition, with several measures( e.g. addressing an question, analyzing the cases and providing methodology), these researches analyzed the current situation of the labor dispute processing system. Furthermore, these researches also play a certain role in the issue: ‘managing labor dispute effectively in China'. However, the majority of these researches is based on the monocentric model that government plays the dominant status while the minority is based on the theory of multi-centric management.Taking working practice of labor dispute in Zone C, Y City of S province as sample, this essay will mainly describe and discuss four parts: The current situation of labor dispute, the problem of managing labor dispute, how to manage labor dispute in a multi-centric angle, etc..Furthermore, the aims of this essay are as follow: first, this essay aims to find out the problem of managing labor dispute in China; besides, this essay also provides solutions about how to alter the managing model that regards government as the only center; In addition, this essay will explore a multicenter model that involves government supervision and wide social-participation.
