From Private Event To "Explosive" Public Event

"Explosive" public event is a specific type of public event that is formed during the process of extension of social modernity with the emergence and development of public domain. It doesn't belong to the general category of public events. "Explosive" public event is originally private, but turns to be concerned and debated by the public and be valued and interfered by the government sectors after media exposure, which will influence the development and solution of the event, even on the relevant regulations and laws revision or operation. It happens in the area between the public power field and private sector, and can influence the social mainstream operation, playing a special role in the structural function system of the society.The research into the cause of formation, pathogenesis, and the development of the public relation during dissemination process of the "explosive" public events is a boost for sociology and can break through the narrow academic circles to realize the bilateral dialog between social issues and sociology. At the higher level, this research has positive effect for the public domain; At the theoretical level, the comprehensive analysis of hidden social problems and the exploration into the formation of public order help to form and develop the theory of public domain concept which can gradually construct completed theoretical system; From the perspective of practical meaning, it's the first step to explore the positive and negative influences on "explosive" public events, and then have its positive effect to produce the best possible results meanwhile its negative effects should be timely reined in order to reduce the damage degree, which can promote the justice of harmonious society and also help transforming government function. All of this can provide reference for constructing service-oriented government.The research object of this thesis is "explosive" public event, and generally analyzes such events, and through constructing model map it analyzes its mechanism and the mode characteristics, and summarizes the nature of the event, focusing on the relationship between such public events and China's public domain, and finally finds the process of transformation and then lead it to the positive orientation. In the research the author finds that not all of the individual events can change into public events, but require some particularity. The mass media in event development process play a crucial role for individual events to become public events and provide self-producing platform for this process. Through the research of "explosive" public events, we can discover and summarize the general rules and its advantages or disadvantages, emphatically resolve the core problem of how the individual events could transfer to public events, and also be aware of limitation for the "explosive" public events.The clear understanding of such events could help us confront them at ease and calmly.
