Study On Social Contention In China Land Demolitions

This paper takes China's land expropriation demolitions of contention field transition as the object of research and analyzes the interaction between the state and society by use of state logic and social logic. We draw three conclusions:The First, although the government made changes of management innovation, the country's political system does not change. The guidance of state power system logic is still strong. The Second, China still does not exist in the real sense of the civil society. However China exist favorable conditions by social value remodeling and continuous action. Development is still a long process. The Third, the causes of contention field are changes of the state and society. At the same time. Contention takes the effect of between the state and society. On one hand the legitimacy of the state itself constantly adjust; On the other hand, the intrinsic demands in the changing society, So social autonomy logic continue to challenge state power logic by social contention, Struggle is the important strength of promoting the political modernization, although the strength is very weak.
