The deficiency of preschool teachers is the common problem in the world, China is not exceptional also. Over the years, many people want to solve this problem. In fact, the number of preschool teachers who graduate from schools each year is enough, but after the students graduates from preschool teacher training school, they don't engage in the work, which is one of the important factors in human shortage. As Numerous studies discuss the key factors of affecting graduates will, it often find that work values are important factors. This thesis attempts to start with the work values and study the professional intention and other related factors of preschool teacher training school students, in order to know the status of students'work values and professional intention and the correlation between the two, which can help preschool teacher training school and preschool education institutions explore an effective way on career guidance. Thus it can improve the training mode of students, and promote the development of preschool educational undertakings.Generally, there are two reasons of the lack of preschool education practitioners. One is that the demand is increasing, the other is that the supply of face is insufficient. But in today's China the reason of personnel shortage is different, while faces the unbalanced supply and demand. Therefore besides market demand, the training of the employees must be a key of rethinking.Research found that, because of personnel shortage in the kindergarten at various levels, the capacity is 30-40 for each class, the proportion of kindergarten teachers and children is from 1:15 to 1:20, which is two times more than the worload of advanced countries(The proportion of teachers and children in foreign countries is about 1:10, even less than it). Many study indicate that the proportion of preschool teachers and children is much related with the quality of preschool education.Due to the market demand for preschool educational employees, various and of all kinds school set up the major of preshool education. At present the number of graduates each year is about 40,000 people, but actually the number which engaged in education career is less than half. In fact, the number of preschool teachers who graduate from schools each year is enough, but after the students graduates from preschool teacher training school, they don't engage in the work and the liquidity is pronounced, which is one of the important factors in human shortage. Many study says the main problems of training employees are: 1.The educational importance of preschool educational employees don't cooperate future social demand and prospective development. Second, teaching, examination and employing don't be integrated with the system. That is to say, the cohesion and complementary of students'education and employment is the key of engaging in the preschool education after graduating.At present many research in the discussion of the graduates, trying to find out the influence occupational career of key factors in numerous factors, found in"work values",occupies an important position, such as Zytowski pointed out that"work value"sare many influence factors of occupational intention; intermediary Parsons found, which can contain factor of personal interest, work values, employment environment, the future development and income, etc. Therefore, through postgraduate research work of graduates to understand, predict values, the occupation, will help children preschool education institutions and normal school in employment.It is hoped that this study can be regarded as the reference of practice arrangement and employment service in preschool teacher training school. And it can help graduates bulid the right work values and can let the preschool educational institutions make related preparations so as to attract graduates to engage in the preschool education, and be willing to be kidergaten teachers.Research objectives:1. The status of students'work values in preschool teacher training school.2. The status of students'professional intention in preschool teacher training school.3. The related research between the work values and professional intention of students in preschool teacher training school.This study belongs to a questionnaire descriptive research, which adopts data collection to collect information. The subjects for this investigation are from hebei province and the different grade of normal preschool. Researchers selecte the samples from different grades with random. Then schools select some cooperated students in different grades and majors, and some students in each class are selected as the research object. In May, 2010, 400 questionnaires were sent out and 397 available questionnaires were retrieved and the rate is 97%.It probes that work values has the influence on profession intention by the way of multiple logistic regression analysis.The results of the study showed that, in the control of demography variable, work values has a significant effect on the employment intention. The higher scores,the higher professional intention. Meanwhile it's found the students whose enrollments are due to the interest have the higher employment intention. According to the research, the thesis puts forward the following suggestions: schools should increase the number of entrance by screening of students who are interested in preschool education;detect the students who are lack of interest in earliest time, and give appropriate guidance and help. Researcher in the study of such projects, can use different research methods or statistical methods.Thus, people can understand completely the related factors of employment intention of students in preschool teacher training school and policy direction.
