New curriculum is reforming like a raging fire,there are some innovations and break in many fields.It has great significance in inspiring and improving the weaknesses in our current education.Especially,the chinese course which receives much concern carried out a comprehensive reflection and reform.The chinese curriculum standard published by education ministry requires us pay attention to the correct guidance of emotion,attitude and value in chinese class,cultivate students' noble morality and healthy aesthetic taste,form correct value and positive attitude towards life.The cultivation of correct female identity also is an important category therein.This is an extremely important issue which has been forgotten and overlooked for many years.This study concretely discusses the issue in order to initiate a cause of thinking over implicit gender issue in chinese teaching material,so as to build harmonious sexual relationship and really realize equality of men and women.This article divided into seven parts:The first part is introduction,which briefly introduces the background and significance of this subject,the current research status at home and abroad,general research way and research method.The second part briefly introduces the theoretical basis of this study:Humanistic, Psychology, Social Learning Theory,Feminist Literary Criticism,Constructivist Learning Theory and so on.This is the guiding ideology and direction of this research.The third part takes the current chinese teaching material of People Education Press Edition as research object,uses quantitative analysis method,makes statistics on the main female images in chinese textbooks for middle schools and classifies them according to the sex of author.The fourth part uses textual analysis concretely analyses the female images in male and female writers' works.Based on the third part and fourth part, the fifth part considers and summarizes the female identity in Chinese textbooks for middle schools from the perspective of male author and female author.The sixth part is based on the understanding of the problems mentioned above,it makes some deep thoughts and endeavors to propose the feasible suggestions combining with practice.Finally,the concluding remarks hackles the main viewpoints of this full text and points out the defects and shortcomings that influenced by subjective and objective factors.
